“Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. Know that you can.” – Curtis Lovejoy, 5x U.S. Paralympian

To Do Today: The Bill Keating, Jr. Memorial Para-Swimming Open is May 11-12 at the Keating Aquatics Center at the University of Cincinnati.

The Bill Keating, Jr. Memorial Para-Swimming Open is the largest non-championship meet in the country for U.S. Paralympics. The meet has brought many new swimmers into the Paralympic Movement to compete and represent their respective Paralympic teams on the national and international level. This meet is viewed as an important competition for U.S. Paralympic Swimming to recruit the next generation of athletes and invite current national team members to serve as leaders and role models. In 2018, the Cincinnati Para-Swimming Open was renamed in memory of Bill Keating, Jr., who was instrumental in growing the meet since 2010.
