“Our mission is simple – To fly as many World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans to see their memorials in Washington D.C.” – Honor Flight Tri-State
Our World War II veterans are dying at the rate of 600 per day. Honor Flight Tri-State is working hard to get as many veterans to D.C. as they can.
To Do Today: I have the privilege of joining today’s Honor Flight trip to take 68 American heroes to Washington, D.C. Today’s flight is extra special — after serving their country, 61 of the 68 veterans went on to serve their communities through careers in law enforcement. I’ll be posting videos, pictures, and updates on the Honor Flight Tri-State Facebook page throughout the day so everyone back home can join in on the experience.
